[His hand moves while contemplates adjusting the comforter or his pillow, but in the end, no, nothing happens. He is still boneless.]

[Shiki can't help but grin at that, chuckling again while pressing a kiss on his forehead.]

Of course.

[How could she forget? Privacy? In Somarium of all places?]

[Sensing movement, she looks down, seeing his hand move before it settles on the mattress again. Her gaze then shifts to the comforter that was hanging off the edge of the bed, thinking that maybe Dick wanted to tug it up to them. Without letting go of his other hand, Shiki sits up for a moment, reaching over with her free hand and successfully pulling the comforter up to their height, covering up to their chins.]

[Softly, she asks:] Better?

[He nuzzles her shoulder, trying to fit himself in to cuddle against her like she's three times his size.]

Yeah, a lot. There's something to be said for that feeling you get when you don't want to get out of bed because nothing good can come of it.

[nowpantsoff]

[She hums thoughtfully, nuzzling the top of his head after shifting her position to accommodate him better.]

Mmmn. [Shiki sighs, feeling rather content.] Nice and cozy bed, warm covers... [A tiny smile forms on her lips as she says:] The company's not bad either.

I think I would choose the company over the covers, honestly.

[It's sincere, because his sleepy brain is too tired to filter it through the sarcasm and snark he usually puts around his emotions.]

You... you talk back, for one thing.

[Shiki giggles.] I sure do!

I also give excellent hugs. [She gives him an affectionate squeeze of her arms.] And well, if you want kisses...

[It looks like sleepiness makes Shiki Misaki a whole lot smoother compared to when she's awake.]

I'm sooo sleepy, though...

[It sounds like that's fading, though.]

What if you did the kissing...? Would that be okay?

[nowpantsoff]

[She giggles again, kissing his forehead in response, her arms pulling him closer to her.]

Well, [Shiki starts, kissing the tip of his nose next.] since you asked... [Then the corner of his mouth, her voice softens.] so nicely.

[She pauses for a moment, the smile on her face turning coquettish before finally kissing Dick fully on the lips, her eyes fluttering close as she sighs.]

[bluer]

[Definitely, definitely okay...

He completely relaxes, running a hand through her hair and trying to just mirror and match her kissing, letting her set the pace, before reaching a pause point.]

You should do this more often.

[nowpantsoff]

[Her breath hitches when she feels his hand combing through her hair, her own hand cupping gently his cheek as she kisses him. The pace was slow and easy, not wanting to rush and just to savor their moment together like this.

Shiki chuckles when they pull away for a second, pressing kisses all over his face before chirping:]

Hmm, you like sleepy make outs, Dick? [She asks, her thumb brushing against his cheek.]

Sleepy make-outs, well-rested make-outs, spontaneous make-outs...

[Standby for yawn. Covers his face with a pillow.]

[She giggles when he yawns, leaning in to kiss the middle of his brows.]

Hmm... [Shiki yawns, resting her forehead against his, rubbing the tip of their noses together gently.] Does this count as a, "I'm glad you came back home to me" kiss?
