[When Yosuke floated idea of going on a trip with everyone to see Senpai, Kanji was on board. Seemed like a fun thing, it got the whole bunch of 'em back together, and he missed the hell out of Senpai. The only hitch was that they ended up needing to share rooms, 'cause the hotel they were staying at was overbooked. Naoto got the bed, because, y'kow, it's the right thing to do. Kanji didn't mind, he could rough it on the couch, but that stupid bear took it, and Kanji didn't have the heart to kick him off. So he tried to sleep on the floor.

[Yeah, it wasn't working too well. It was too cold, and he just couldn't get to sleep on the hard wood. He was tossing and turning for hours, but he just couldn't get to sleep, and that bed was looking more and more appealing all the time. It was a queen size, right? He could probably fit ... but that meant, y'know, sharing a bed with Naoto. Just thinking about it had him red in the face.

[As time marched on and he got more and more tired and still couldn't get to sleep. he decided to man up and just do it. Nothing wrong with it, right? They were just gonna be lying there. He could do this ...]

Hey, Naoto, you, uh, you awake?

[And no response .... he didn't want to wake her up or anything, but he needed to get to sleep. Maybe if he just got in carefully, he wouldn't wake her up and she wouldn't mind in the morning? Normally, he wouldn't even think about it, but he was desperate here. He quietly gets to his feet, and gets in on the other side of the bed, keeping a good bit of space between them and settling down.]

[It wasn't that Mai didn't like it when the community decided to bring everyone on a surprise vacation. She was pretty fond of it, actually. The problem was that she had trouble sleeping in a bed that just wasn't her own. She knew it shouldn't be such a big difference, but it was. She lay awake in the guest bed, eyes wide opened. Looking to the clock she could see that it was well past midnight, but sleep just didn't seem possible.

A thought crossed her mind briefly.

Masamori is just across the hall.

Her cheeks instantly heated and she tucked the sheets up to her nose in embarrassment. She shouldn't be thinking things like that! Well, sure they had been together for almost two years now, with no end to the relationship in sight, thank goodness, but they took things slowly. They always had.

And yet she found her body moving, despite her best efforts to stay put. Before she knew it she was out of her room and at the door to Masamori's across the hall. With a shaking hand she knocked softly. Maybe he wouldn't even hear.]
